A recently released FOI by the Dept of Home Affairs has the average waiting days on a EOI for the Global Talent Visa by country of origin of the Candidate. We’ve put together an interactive map which presents this information easily and lets you check your country of origin.
Candidates from UK, US and Japan take an average of 29, 27 and 35 days. Candidates from countries like India and China have to wait an average of 51 and 50 days before a response. There can be other factors contributing to a larger delay because of a higher number of applicants and significantly large talent pool from developing economies looking to move to Australia.
Be aware that the data provided by the department was only till the 31st of December, 2020 and the numbers might be changing now.
